Google Chrome, Mac

It's official, Google Chrome is better than Firefox, in my opinion. Although it doesn't have extensions (yet), but I came.

Also, for some reason, I feel like having a Mac. I guess it IS superior after all, and it's not like I game on my laptop (currently a Medion Akoya E1210, a rebranded MSI Wind). I'm getting OSx86 for my "playground" computer (one I can mess freely, something using cheap and spare parts), so I can see if OS X is really fapfap.

So I will probably order a MacBook (the cheapest one) around October, for my birthday (Oct 4).

PS: Any way to remove spellchecking on Google Chrome?

PS2: I do read your comments, Kindar, it's just I'm too lazy to reply. :X

I suppose you guys were expecting an update.

So here it is.
First of all, forget about the twinblog. I don't feel really comfortable writing in Spanish on LiveJournal, I suppose it's because I've written in English since I opened this account. And it's not like I have any Spanish friends that would read my LJ -- okay, wrong, I have one, but she blogs in English as well, so it's kind of a moot point.

The second thing would be the Squadron Tour 2008. You know that I once wrote about it? Well, we did it, and we loved it. We gained new friends, we visited Madrid (okay not me, haha, I'll explain that later), we had fun, we had an orgy-party but without actual sex...

Thing is there was a girl, one of my best friends, that came to the Tour (she was living in Madrid)... One of the nights, I told her my feelings for her... and let's say she wasn't ready for it. I cried. I even had some emo thoughts... Man, I never felt so sad. Despite that, nothing changed in our friendship, so... Better luck next time?

I suppose I'm getting older and experiencing new things in my life.

But other than that... it was really fun.

Next on the schedule is the Squadron Trip, in the last week of October. The aforementioned friend and a female friend of her will come to my house. Two girls for myself, woohoo!

And someday, I want to go to Sweden. But first I should improve my English further... And then, some other day, I want to visit Japan. In before weeaboo.

So there! Don't expect me posting again until next month or so.

P.S.: I have a feeling my English is quite bad today.

Twinblog

From now on entries will be in either English or Spanish, depending on the demographics I'm aiming the entry to. I call this a "twinblog", since it's like two blogs in one.

Or I could just stop making entries in English, since noone reads them anyway.

I purchased a rename token today, in an effort of eliminating the awful(ly long) online name of Meta-Starman Ness from the face of the internet.
Now all that's left is my main mail account, metastarmanness@gmail.com. Does anybody know how to make a Gmail account automatically redirect all received mail to another Gmail account?

Is this still alive?

I can't believe this LJ is still online. One would've thought LJ would delete unused journals.

For those who knew me before I poofed: I went by the names of Meta-Starman Ness, Niimaru and, eventually, Niizune.
For those who are reading this LJ for the first time: This is Umizune or Butanero-san, depends on where you come from.

Far away are the days of IRC, and even more so the days of KRR. I don't know... The Meedsoft logo you see... I gave up the Meedsoft project a long time ago...

This is probably a nostalgia hit, but I look back to the past and ask myself, "Wow, was I really like that before? No wonder..."

Why am I blogging in English anyway? It's obvious that noone except Ceceil knows about my three hundred sixty-degree turnaround in my internet life.

I abandoned IRC. I abandoned Clever Pun. I abandoned my shallow incursion into the furry world. I abandoned Umizune.

And I reformatted.

Now I'm Butanero-san. Member of at least two regional manganime groups, yes, IRL. Got real life friends. Got a life. I go out almost every Saturday. I'm no longer afraid of people (hey, I work at retail anyway). And I'm no longer gender confused (that was so 2007).

But I'm still Jesus Quirante, age 18, born Oct. 4th 1989, living in a city called Girona, in the north-eastern corner of Spain.

And so a new era begins.

I feel my knowledge of English language has skyrocketed after 4 years of self-teaching with the aid of IRC people. Thanks, guys.

What a day.

First off, today it was my first day of school. Presentation, schedule and such. Half an hour of so-called class and get out. Nice.

Then, when I reached home I was all sweating (meh I'm not used to walk to school) so my glasses were slipping down my nose every few seconds. So I thought, why don't I press the middle things that rest in your nose so they don't slip down? Well, BAD IDEA. Doing so broke them. In half. [insert long string of As here.]

So me and my mom walked down to the glasses shop later to repair them. Luckily they were still in warranty. So they say they will have them ready tomorrow. Now, I'm not glasses-less, but the ones I'm wearing are extremely fail and I can't see very well with them. Better than nothing it is, that's for sure.

And walking down the street there's this watches shop and I tell my mom "so I'd really want a new digital watch for my birthday." (which is in three weeks). So we got in and saw this awesome digital watch with many functions, just what I like. A Casio digital watch called 'e-data bank'. Priced at €68 (~$74), this baby allows to store written data on it like a notebook, time storing with data, world timezones, easy DST on and off, and many more. So my mom bought it as an early present. :D!! ( http://www.sporttek.co.uk/DataBankEDB701D8VER.html )

So yeah, apparently bad stuff can attract good stuff.

Niimaru-oniichan is leaving from August 2nd to August 15th. In these thirteen days there's almost 0% chance of seeing him online.

Oniichan will also bring his DS along with NSMB and probably some anime DVDs so he won't be bored.

Have fun and don't talk shit behind his back too much.

hot captcha

http://hotcaptcha.com/

This is a captcha system (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) that requires the person to click the three hottest (wo)men. If they are correct, the system assumes you are human. If not, the script detects you are a (spam)bot.

However, upon try of it, I failed twice the women test, but passed the men one.

AAAAAAAAAAAAA

MMORPGs

ITT we post reviews and comments about free MMORPGs. I'm going to try these five and comment later.

RYL2 Incomplete Union: Very good game, though it needs a really good computer to run. On my Sempron 3000+, 1 GB RAM, ATI Radeon X1600PRO, at 1024x768, it runs at about 15-20 FPS. It's not a point and click battle system, but rather an Action-RPG battle system, like Zelda. 8.7/10
Gate to Heavens: Crappy graphics, lots of problems to install, bad camera and movement system. Nice music though. 3/10.
Kal Online: Very promising and good graphics-wise. The water reflections are awesome and take a less FPS impact than of Lineage II's. Good movement and camera system. Game lacks an in-game tutorial however, so I don't know how to play yet. 7.5/10
Thang Online: Camera cannot be rotated, so you can't see a lot. Mass fail. 2/10
Knight Online: Cannot register, trying again in a few moments.
